Getting started
Your first broadcast with AnimStream Studio.
Prepare the picture, the sound and the destination separately. This checklist helps you avoid a common surprise: a working preview or connected chat does not mean your viewers are receiving the right stream.
1. Install Studio and choose your format
Download the installer for your computer, open Studio and connect your AnimStream account. Choose landscape for a typical Twitch stream or portrait for a vertical layout. Start with a single scene rather than a complicated collection.
2. Add camera and capture sources
Add the sources you intend to show, grant operating-system capture permissions when needed, and check the order of layers. Crop and position them in the canvas. Keep private windows and account settings out of the scene.
3. Listen to the result
Add the microphone and intended desktop or application audio. Speak at your normal streaming volume and check the mixer. Make a short recording and listen back: meters moving is not enough to catch doubled audio, music covering your voice or a missing track. Only broadcast content you are permitted to use.
4. Connect chat and test an event
Select your platform and complete its connection flow. Place the desired chat or alert widget in the active scene. Use the simulator for a supported event and confirm that the action appears and its sound is at a sensible level.
5. Configure the output
For direct broadcasting, open Go Live and enter the destination and stream key provided by your platform. Keep the key private. For a virtual-camera workflow, select AnimStream Cam in the receiving application and configure audio there too. TikTok RTMP access depends on the account; connecting gifts is not a substitute.
6. Check what your audience receives
Start only when you are ready to be public. Check the platform’s receiving preview for the correct scene and sound. Listen on a separate device with headphones or mute its speakers to avoid feedback. At the end, stop the output and confirm the platform shows the broadcast as ended.
